Her Story
"Madiha Rizvi-Karim is a social impact strategist, CEO, philanthropist, educator, and advocate for sustainable development. Initially pursuing a medical career, her early diagnosis of muscular dystrophy (CMT) led her to shift her academic path toward Economics, Political Science, and the Arts, earning her Bachelor’s degree, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration with a major in Finance.
Madiha began her professional journey in banking, where her leadership and dedication to service were recognized early on. With aspirations in investment banking and wealth management, she later prioritized raising a family while continuing to nurture her passion for social change.
Rooted in a legacy of philanthropy and entrepreneurship, Madiha is committed to advancing justice, inclusive education, and economic empowerment. She has collaborated with UNESCO and signed Memoranda of Understanding with leading non-profits in Pakistan to introduce IT-based education in underprivileged regions and support community development efforts. She is also exploring research-based initiatives with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada to uplift poverty-stricken communities through sustainable, policy-driven solutions.
As the founder and chair of two nonprofit organizations and a social enterprise, Madiha is currently in the ideation and planning stages of transformative projects in Technology, Construction, Supply Chain, and Energy. Through The Global Alliance Canada Org, she is laying the groundwork for affordable green housing and self-sustaining communities—models designed to promote peace and reduce global conflict by addressing competition over essential resources.
Madiha writes about solutions at the intersection of social justice, economic development, and climate resilience. She completed professional development through Harvard University and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in sustainable economics and taxation.
In collaboration with the Government of Canada, Madiha successfully completed Phase 1 of a seniors' pilot project and is working toward launching Phase 2. She is also engaged in efforts to create job opportunities for marginalized communities and address systemic issues, including racism and Indigenous rights.
Despite personal and systemic challenges, Madiha remains a resilient and compassionate leader—a devoted mother, human rights advocate, social entrepreneur, and thought leader shaping a more just and sustainable future.

"Looking at history and working towards viable solutions in this post-pandemic era. It is essential that we mutually eliminate capitalism and analyze the harm of tribalism -It is only a matter of shifting mindsets and realizing our end of life, that empowering others becomes a pleasure."
